Title: Hella PN#002395301 Replacement Headlight Glass Lenses For Roundeye Trucks
Post by: 78 Chevyrado on April 25, 2026, 12:26:46 am
I don't remember if I posted these on here before, so I'm posting them now.  I've had these headlights for going on 15 years.

To me, these are the best for 73-79 trucks.  they look almost like stock but they have the light cutoff of modern cars.  I have a video about them, while not quite safe for work (I swear a little) I dont say the worst words.  I'm sorry Chris, this is the best I can do.  If you delete this I understand.

This is my video about my Hella PN#002395301 DOT lenses when i upgraded them to LED Bulbs using Philips PN#12953BWX2 LED Bulbs with drivers.

I figured a lot of people might be interested in these.  They're made of glass, have an amazing cutoff and I've had them for about 15 years.  Those philips LED bulbs light up the road so much I got rid of the driving lights under the bumper.  The sun comes out when I hit the high beams.

Another video Comparing the stocker 6024 to the new Hella lens.  its a slide show basically but shows all the differences.  Had them 15 years, and will never replace them.

Wow Kenny!

That was seriously impressive and thanks for sharing the videos and part numbers!

That bush made me jump! And then the tree!

I know what my next upgrade will be!

Thank you so much.

Thank you so much.

Those lenses impressed me back when they still had halogens in them.  I love em!

The philips LEDs have been in there for 4 or 5 years i think.  They have a seperate driver box and have worked flawlessly.

Are the housings flat across the front or curved like the H6024?

Wow, those are some nice bright lights in the you tube video on your original post. I have the original factory lamps and they are like a flashlight with bad batteries, dim and yellow. Though I wish ALL vehicles were still like lamps from the 70's because my eyes are sensitive to bright light. I think modern auto headlights are WAY to bright. Anyway, I may be getting some of those Hella's. Thanks...

Not flat but not quite as curved as the 6024 bulb.  halfway in between but the glass is amazingly clearer.

Lots of lights are too bright because people put LEDs into bad housings with no cutoff.  They are essentially driving around with LED Flood lights which is wrong to do.
