'88 R30 Dual tank. Pollak valve.
Gauge will intermittently read the fuel level, and then go dead. While alive, it correctly reads the level of each tank, and switch the valve.
I have determined that the valve works without the gauge being operational. I think that rules out the switch.
I have cleaned the connection at the valve with DeoxIt.
Any thoughts on where the gremlin lives?

I just saw the post by Ocho.
I think its the relay that ChatGPT said didn't exist.................... >:(
Anyone know where it lives? TIA ;)

Well, maybe I've jumped the gun
Still have a question: If the relay has failed, wouldn't it still read one tank?
Let me analyze my own question: If the relay still moves the valve, has it failed? No
Both tank's sending units display accurately when she decides to wake up.
All other gauges work flawlessly.
Okay, flame away or please offer some guidance. TIA
