Was watching videos of these things.
I enjoy my Hornblasters Shocker XL kit with a 5 gallon tank.
Lots of people love em, lots of people hate em. I don't do pranks, I only use it when someone comes into my lane (and they go right back the #$%^ where they came from) or with deer. The deer are funny. They run out in the road and you hit the horns and they start scrambling on the pavement like a scared cat on a linoleum floor in the kitchen.
If you're within 30 feet of it it hurts. I know this, because a few times I drove it to work, got home, drove in the garage, closed the door, was getting out and my lunchbox hit the steering wheel button... man if I'da had to pee i think I woulda. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I also added a Chevy C60 airbrake gauge where the blank one normally is to keep up with the 150psi the horns have in the 5 gallon system. I like stock look. my gauge is an 80's version but the 70's versions are like finding hens teeth and when you do find one they're prohibitively expensive. I'm happy with what I have though. have all 4 horns under the hood on the front half of the LH wheel housing. Compressor mounted on the RH wheel housing. even made a manifold for it that takes normal air hoses so I can use it to pump up tires or whatever you may need air for...
Can't promise there's no swearing but here ya go guys. get to see the gauge and hear the horn.

I've had a triple horn manifold and one separate horn with a 13 gallon tank for years and to this day my body still cringes Everytime I touch that switch!! Absolutely my favorite thing I've ever put on any vehicle!!
Years ago when I first got the triple manifold, I stripped them down, cleaned all the casting flash and polished the internals, drilled out every fitting so I had a true 3/8" hole everywhere. I have about $12 in my system but never found a compressor I wanted to afford.
Thinking about an ac compressor setup when I get it back on the road again.

Not for me, but I had a friend that had one in his monster-truck that he daily-drove. He'd make videos as he had a ton of pedestrians that didn't mind jaywalking in front of him. He had to have those off-road tires just to get traction in all the poop that the jaywalkers dropped. ;D

I'm old enough now I never did pranks with it. It's great though, saved me from one crash and two deer hits. When someone on the freeway comes over on you and you hit the horn and they keep on coming, with those horns they go back where the heck they came from. If it causes them to crash or something, better them than me.
As far as the deer, those idiots come out on the road and stand there and look at you coming... Have you ever seen a cat try and change direction on a linoleum floor in the kitchen when you scared it? That's what the deer look like on the asphalt. It's quite the sight!
When I do drive it I do enough freeway driving it's saved my butt several times. I don;t do pranks though. now if I woulda had this 20 years ago I couldn't say that even with a crooked face.

So I drive the truck to work, air horns primed, get home, park in the garage, close the door, I'm getting out and my lunchbox hits the horn button... :o :o :o :o God it was so loud and unexpected! If I woulda had to pee I would have.

Yes they are, there are complete kits now but I'm not paying for that. My plan is to drill and tap the oil passage in the perforator plate and hop that the pistons don't have to have oil on top, and the circulating oil is as designed for system components. Thinking about trying it on my Duramax first.. if it last ther it'll definitely last on an LQ4.

What sucks is I used to have a york compressor that was for the stock AC on a 69 mustang. I sold it way back before i ever thought of having an air compressor on board.
I have a switch to turn the horns off, but hey if it's not ready to go how much good is it? ;D
