Title: rim swap old too semi-new
Post by: firesqman on July 07, 2003, 01:36:00 pm
I have a 1992 1500 4x4 suburban 6 lug .
Can I put 77-84 6 lugs rims from a chevy pick-up?
I was told the lug pattern may be different or the lugs on my 92 may be bigger and not fit through the rims?!?!!?:o :(

as long as they are 6 on 5.5 lugs they should fit. your best bet would to call your local tire shop to make sure.

Title: Needed: tire rim for 1986 Suburban 4x4, 6 lug, 15 inch rim

hello,

anybody out there have a stock 15 inch rim with 6 lug holes to fit a 1986 Suburban 4x4? The emblem on the fender says its a "Custom 10".  Automatic tranny.

I tried searching the junkyards in the Pasadena area but had no luck.  Plenty of 8 lug rims and 5 lug rims but the 6 lug, 15" rim is proving pretty elusive.

thanks,
