Not sure but I would guess around 5,000-5,500 lbs.
-
I would add another 1/2 ton atleast to that number.
-
Heavy enough.
My 4x4, 1986 3/4 ton, no cargo, with 30 gallons of fuel, was 6140 pounds with a 180 pound driver in it at the truck scale last week.

I just had my 87 3/4 weighed at the local truck stop and the results were unexpected.
Front axle: 3000lbs
Rear axle: 3400lbs

A well equipped Burb is going to be about 7000lbs. Generally they fall about 6200-6800lbs.

Sweet. I've been trying to figure out how much a 3/4 ton 4x4 weighs. My '84 has the 350/700R4 and I'll bet it weighs the same as yours, WmSSmith. If I get by a truck stop sometime I'll weigh it with a full 40-gallon tank and just me (240) and see what I get.

wow! :o, guess thats worthy of the name "Heavy Chevy"...LOL

I have an 89 3/4 ton 2wd with tbi 350 and last time to the scrap yard mine was 5570lbs. My Father had a 91 GMC 1/2 ton Suburban 2wd, he claims 5100lbs. It really depends on what options it has.
