I have found a blazer here in NW Missouri where I live with no rust and one minor dent. The thing has never seen mud. Originally had a 305, which I currently own. It now has a 3970010 casting hi nickel, hi tin content 350 engine. The transmission is a th700r4 and the reverse and first are out of it, and it has an NP208 transfer case, which works fine. I would like to put the thing back to either the original 305 and rebuild the 700r4(never done a 700 before, or any trans for that matter),or, I have a 375 hp 327 that I am currently rebuilding, I am going with a 4 bolt 350 block rather than the original LJ 327 block, to this I would bolt a th350. Also have access to a DZ302 engine that I could use. Looking for any ideas or suggestions. Going to repaint back to original colors, basically just freshen up the original paint which is still decent. Going to go with a 4 inch suspension lift and no body lift. Has 10 bolt axles F/R. It will be mudded once in a while, but will mostly be a daily drive while my 78 K-10 is being restored.

This site is awesome and a lot of the topics and questions can apply to the blazers too. ck5.com is all about the 73-91 fullsize blazers and jimmys. Might check that out as well.
