I have a '78 Jimmy, 4x4 with a new GM Goodwrench 350. I am currently running stock springs with an add a leaf kit and have new 33 BFG Muds and want to get a 6" lift. Have plans to put 36x12.50 / 15's on. In other trucks, I've tried some of the 4" lift kits with blocks and
1978 GMC Jimm not did not like the handling for rough 4-wheeling. My Jeep blew it away in the handling aspect. I will be adding a Dana 44 and re-gearing it to 4:10 once I put the lift on, but wanted some input as to what are the best 6" kits on the market. I want the full spring lift (no blocks) and am working on giving the new engine some added hp. I've been looking at the Bushwacker, Rough Country, and Skyjacker kits, but don't have any clue as to which one is consiered better than the other. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
