Title: Trucks vs wifes or girl friends
Post by: ccb on February 25, 2006, 12:02:00 pm: WELL, Guy we kinda touch on this in a couple of other posts and I was thinkingg have you ever though why or how you got a wife or girl friend? A friend? best bud? companion ship? you wanted kids? find a soul mate? And the one we don't say but was what we were all think when we saw them. Is the same thing we say when we see a nice Ride Except it a diffren kina ride but the thought is the same . I can' what to get you home so I can have fun with you.

They all cost you money the only diffrents is you truck don't talk to you. LOL

Now lets take it one more step, It my mother in law that has a real problem with my trucks. and gives my wife heck about my trucks. I tell ya a real pain in my ass sometimes. Her biggest problem is it make the side of the house look like a junk yard. When you marry the wife you get the mother inlaw for free.

BFG's for Valentines last year, then right after HER birthday she bought our '81 swb c10. Oh yeah, she got the new .480 lift cam for my Christmas present, I just wish sometimes she'd help me out with the stuff. It's not all one sided, I bought her a '91 full size Jimmy and she got a new '05 Dodge earlier this year.

Need to move somewhere that doesn't have an airport or telephones.

actually i take that back, i think i'm just mad about a recent breakup but it still depends on the girl

I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or what but I'm as single as it gets. No wife (divorced almost 10 years now) and girlfriend lives two states away. I just recently turned 43 and it's kinda interesting how a man's priorities change as he gets older, for me anyway. I love living by myself and being able to do what I want when I want. Work on the truck till 2 a.m... wear my coveralls in the house... sleep when I want... cook what I want... truck parts on the kitchen table... washing truck parts in the kitchen sink... Jegs and Summit catalogs in the bathroom...leaving the darn lid up if I want and no dang shopping malls for me. All I need is a Wal Mart, the local parts store and a gas station!! I know it sounds a little pathetic but it certainly works for me.

As far as "Luvin" goes?? Well, it's everywhere... trust me.

Trucks over Chicks for me!!
