Title: divorced transfer case

Is anyone running a divorced transfer case? I have aquired 2 NP200 cases. These are the series before the NP205. The difference is the gears are straight cut and a bit noiser. They are out of a military M715's and have the right hand drop like the GM trucks need. Since you can put these behind any 2wd transmission I thought it would be a good case for our series trucks for off road use. What do you think?

Could be.  You would have a wider option to transmissions.  I had a friend who ran a divorced case with an M-22 rock crusher from a chevelle.  It was pretty darned quick for a 4.56 gear shortbed.

I am in the process of aquiring a 2 1/2 ton Rockwell from a early sixties dodge log truck to run in my next Blazer project. It is divorced and already twin sticks. I am still looking for an old Lull / Petibone off road fork lift to rob the axles from.

NP 200 is not strong enough, but thanks anyway. To much money for axles. I am looking for one that dosn't run or has already relived of engine, transmision, lift, or something, so I can but just the axles. Plus to far away, I am in N.H.
