Title: bad vibe need tech help

on my way home today, started getting bad vibes, got off highway when starting to exelerate it started again, then got worse. dropped my driveshaft when i got home, u joint going to yoke was very stiff, took it out and it seemed to move freely again, is the driveshaft supposed to have any play at the t-case, it wiggled a little, slightplay but not that bad. checked suspension all is tight.  350/350/208  4 inch lift 35's  any ideas? the u joint did not move too freely when it was on the drive shaft, but after i pounded it out it seemed fine, grease in it and not much wear.,

If you removed the u-joint, I personally would take the opportunity to put a new one in, they aren't that much...

As for the Vibes, where it is feel like it is coming from?  Drivetrain, suspension....

deffinately using new joints, driveshaft is where noise is coming from, i jacked up rear and let it run in drive, it was coming from that rear joint, as soon as wifey gets home off to autozone. hopefully that fixes prob.

Hopefully it is not your pinion gear.  If it is a deep roaring sound upon decelerating, it may be that.
