I have a 78 K10..and as we all know the rear end decided to defect on me..lol..well the truck has a 3.07 gear..wich i asume is a 3 series carrier..the truck also has a 4" lift and 34"tires what gear would you all think would be the best i would like to go with a 4.10 in a 3 series the motor will get a mild overhaul this spring when it warms up i'm not looking to build a 4wheel monster just a decent balanced power pack.and how do you all feel about the 342 or 373..what ever i do to the rear i will do to the front this spring..just looking for options..any sugestions would be great..thanks yall

Do the math on tire size from stock. If you had 31" tires factory and now run 34" , if you do a diameter correction you should come close to the right ratio for engine RPM's and speedo correctness.
