Post by: ih8mud on December 21, 2005, 10:58:00 am
I have a 79 long bed chevy 4x4, with a th350 hooked to a np 203.  My transmission went out and i found me a th400 attached to a np205.  I was woundering what all will i have to do to get the th400 and np205 to work.  Like are the driveshafts different lengths ect...

The input and output of the tranfercase and transmission won't match, you need a tranfercase that will mate to the transmission.

Are you saying that the th400 and NP205 are already mated?  As far as I know, the auto's are the same and the manuals are different.
