will the front end of a 76 fit under a 69? i just got a 76 today, and was wondering if it would work. drums dont stop these old trucks. thanks.

yes it'll work, seen a few tech articles on it awhile back, from what i remember it was all a bolt on affair. i cant rember if they changed the changed crossmembers or just swapped parts tho

Yes, it will work.  You will need to add 1 extra hole for it on the frame, otherwise it is a bolt in affair.

how hard is it going to be as far as making the hole? i mean, is it easy to access? what do you think is the best tool for it??

as far as i can remember the crossmember from the 76 fits your 69s excisting frame holes with the exception of the one roundedline mentioned. access for drilling hole should be fine, it'll be on either the top or bottom of the frame rail i beleive, regardless you either have to remove or find a way to suspend your engine while supporting the front of the truck. good luck!
