Title: Power Brakes
Post by: 123 pugsy on April 22, 2006, 11:11:00 am
Took the truck for a drive.Booster gives a whoosh sound and power assist doesn't seem to be working. Is it possible to install this wrong? The brakes were working before I ripped the truck apart.

After you shut off the truck does it maintain vacuum after you pull of the check valve?

Yes.Sorta.Just checked with mityvac.Leaking slightly around the grommet only.Step on the brake pedal and vac is released immediately.

Order the booster and Master as a unit, I paid 175.00 for both a few years ago.
Dont over adjust or under adjust the booster rod, makes stopping such a pain:\
