I'm not sure if yours is a removable tunel, but mine is not .I tried getting carpet from a bone yard and it didn't fit because my tunnel height was taller than the doner truck .Mine is a K25 with a t400.

my trans tunnel is removable,it is in my 84 blazer 4x4 .i have seen alot of these trucks (mostly 4x4's) and never noticed a differance in the tunnel, i was reading an article and it said something about a tall trans tunnel. that is why i was asking if anyone new of a differance.

All 4x4s have the tall tunnel. All 4 spd. 4x2s have a tall tunnel. 3 spd. standard, and automatic 4x2s have a short tunnel. Up till around 83 - 84 ish the tall tunnels are removeable. after that they are part of the floor. The short tunnel floors have a stamp in them to go by when cutting out for install of a tall tunnel.
