I have a 1975 C20. I recently got a License Plate Light from NAPA. i hooked it up to the existing wire and ran a ground to the tail light ground to the hitch wherer it is mounted. It is just held on to the license plate by 2 bolts and nuts. Heere is the light itself...

Its a 20 amp fuse that does it and the tail lamps etc... But ever since i put that light on I keep blowing the 20 amp fuse. I looked for shorts over and over and didnt find anything. Any ideas?? Do i need to stick a 25amp in there because it isn't a factory light and maybe it pulls a little more???? Any suggestion?

Short to ground. You should just hook the wire to your marker lamp wires. The housing is grounded through the screws

I figured it out. The fuse was 2 small i stuck a 25 in it and it seems to be working. I looked at the blown fuse and it was just metled and not blackened meaning that is wasn't a short but thanks for the adivce anyway
