Title: Interior Help
Post by: 86wrangler on May 13, 2006, 03:17:00 pm
I have a 1986 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4 I'm trying to restore.  I'm a little confused on interior colors though.  I can tell mine is a dark grey but when I look on ebay or parts places like   I've heard light grey, dark grey, grey, black and charcoal.  Does anyone know what colors GM actually came out with?  Is charcoal black or dark grey? Its hard to see in pictures and I don't want to end up ordering the wrong part.  Thanx

Most places that sell interior parts can usually send you some color samples. Year One did this when I restored my Impala. Might give these places a call and see if this is an option.

The Coverlay doorpanels we sell are offered in the following colors:

The Dashtop door panels that use the factory trim pieces that we sell come only in black, and can be dyed using SEM paint.
