Title: Driver restraint harness mounting ?
Post by: yellow76 on July 02, 2006, 12:08:00 AM
Not sure whether to post here or in Performance section.

Has anyone mounted Driver restraint safety harnesses in their truck?
I have a 76 Stepside, Jegs GS1 sport seats and just got some G-force pro series camlock harnesses. I have read everything I could find on the subject and understand the part about the criticle angle for the shoulder harness. However the angle needed can almost NOT be obtained in this truck as the seats are right up aginst the back window and the openings in the seats for the harnesses come out right into the back of cab brace (I guess that what its called) just below the window.

So has anyone else done this? Please share your wisdom.

basicly a big money pit, but a lot of fun.
