Man, oh man! My first cop car was a '90 chevy caprice--i later had a 92 (I believe) caprice---those 350's would blow the decals off the crown vics.
I loved those old caprices with the 350's. Going code 3 on the intrestate w/ lights flashing--Whewww!! that baby not only went about Mach 3, she would hug the road.
That was the true best police package EVER! Malibu, Crown Vic--no comparison. Some of the older guys like talking about the old Dodge hemi 440's, but that was b4 my time SgtDel

No, I haven't seen any of the Charger police models here in Va yet. Not sure if they made it on the state bid. The dang crown vics are always on the state bid due to the cheapness. But I'll take a vic over the darn Intrepid police interceptor they recently gave me. Lots of pep, but terrible brakes, rattles, etc.. SgtDel
