I'm hoping someone on here has some info on this topic because it is still a mystery to me. Did General Motors produce a Suburban with dual wheels during the '73-'91 run (or any other time for that matter)? I have seen one on the road, years ago, plus the black one in the movie 'Twister'. It seems like a relatively straight forward custom job to me, but I have heard that at one point it was a rare factory option.
This is something that has bugged me for quite a while, any info on this or other such oddities?

GM did not make such an animal. I have seen a few though...pretty neat if you ask me.

That is really cool...I've never seen anything like that.

there used to be one here that was dropped pretty low, but instead of 4 tires in the back, they had 2 huge mickeys, it looked sweet Edited by: shaved80 at: 8/11/06 1:48 am
