Title: 86 silverado...want 4 light grill
Post by: pcmcobra on August 05, 2006, 02:39:00 pm: I want to get a 4 light grill, like from an 88-91(?) f/s blazer/burb...to replace the stock grill.
Anyone sell a bolt on kit for this. What year/grill will fit without any or little mods?

Post by: lotopp79 on August 05, 2006, 06:38:00 pm: I think this should be in the forsale wanted area bout I have the whole set up to bolt in that i am thinking about seling but there a direct bolt in in those year you can bolt the up to any 81 u-87 half ton cab or 81- 90 3/4 and 1 ton cab

Where are you located? I have a gm 89-91 core support and a used chevy grill in Mesa AZ. You would need headlight buckets and parking lights

If you are looking to buy, this needs to go to the Parts Post. If you are looking on where, www.usautoparts.com/ has kits, or did at one time. They were actually frontends from salvage pickups, what they are now, I don't know...

‘89-’91 Right Turn signal lens GM part #5975228 *
‘89-’91 Left Turn signal lens GM part #5975227 *
4 - ‘89-’91 Headlight “pigtails” *
8 - ‘89-’91 Headlight adjusters *
4 - ‘89-’91 Headlight springs *

You can get a grille from any of the above trucks, BUT you HAVE to have the 89-91 core support from the Burb/Blazer also or it won't work.
