Heres some pics of my 1981 C10 thats still in the process of getting fixed up:
I bought it for 200 bucks, and have spent well over 6000 dollars getting it fixed up, it was a farm truck and only had 70,000 miles on it..but the old farmer blew up the old Straight 6. I bought the 290HP from GM Perf, and pretty much have replaced every body part except the cab...box sides are next!
Im currently in Iraq right now, and Ill be home in a few weeks to give her a test drive

Nice work so far...I'm doing the same thing although I haven't invested quite as much as you. I'm in about 3-4 thousand.

Just got some new pics from my brother. Today they got the new hood, fenders, and core support on and finished up the engine. They also got a good start on the interior, only thing left is the dash.

In Feb. its going to the body shop to have the cab corners and rockers replaced, and some work to the box. I'm thinking about painting it Candy Apple Red (HOK), but am open to suggestions...
Ive also got a question on changing box sides. I bought a new box side because I have dual tanks (old box did not) and its pretty rusted. I know the side is bolted to the floor and front panel of the box, but is there any welds? When I come home on R/R I'd like to change it and want to know what Im getting into.

There's a few welds at the back of the box sides only.
