any one redo their seats? I got a new cover on the way and was wondering how much of a headache I have coming to me. Any pointers?

Get some hog rings and pliers, get some extra padding and try not to swear too much

I have redone a couple Chevys several othe rmisc. and allot of F series trucks as I started out years back at a Ford dealer. Just take your time double check the fit before hog ringit down.Might want to ask where you are getting the cover from if they have a booklet to help you.

I thought about covering mine but I ended up letting the local upholstery shop do it for $185.

Check for cracked welds on your seat frame while you've got it open .Make note of how your springs go on.My seat pulls backwards when I pull the lever.
