Title: V.I.N. decoding
Post by: clayton400 on December 03, 2006, 10:18:00 pm: Is there anyway to tell if a truck came from the factory as a Silverado, Scottsdale or Custom deluxe?

look at the 3 letter codes on the white sticker in the glove box...GU4=3.08, GU6=3.42, GT4=3.73, GT5=4.10. That is assuming that the factory rear end is still in the truck.
