Hello, i am going to remove the air conditioning unit in my 1978 Silverado 1500 and i was wondereing if anyone here has some tips or step by step pics that i could use. Thanks for any help!

Why do you wanna remove it? My truck doesn't have it and I wish it did. Even if it was broken I would be overjoyed since I could just fix it but installing a complete system is way over my head.

im glad my truck doesnt have it- i think it makes the engine compartment look crowded and the whole thing hanging out there is ugly -but thats just my opinion

step 1: remove bolts step 2: pull everything off

haha i forgot about that...well mine didn't have any in it so i didn't have to, but that would be a good idea if you do have refrigerant in
