Title: 73' and 80' grills interchangeable??

Can a 73' and  80' grill be interchanged without any fitment problems?  Thanks

Not without swapping all the grille components (supports, latch support...) from the 73 to the '80 model.
You cannot simply remove a '73 grille and put it in an '80.  the latch on the '73-74 is centered, the 75-80 is offset.

are you trying to put in a 73 grille in a 80 or a 80 grille in a 73?

p.s. the reson i ask is because i got the necessary pieces for a 80 setup minus the grille(hood latch, grille brackets,center grille brace(piece behind the grille) ).All from a 77 truck but if you are trying to put a 73 grille in a 80 then disregard this.

Thanks for the info guys.  Will be doing a complete interchange between a 73' and 80', so  I'll have all the supports/latch/parts needed for a complete exchange.  Keeping an 1980 truck, and selling a beater  73' 3/4T ...but  I favor the appearance of the earlier grill, ....thus the planned switch.
