Just got my 1978 Chevy 1/2 ton step side truck back from the body shop a couple of weeks ago. I dismantled much of the truck for the paint and body work, dash out, bed off, grille out, interior out of truck, etc.
I finally got to putting the tail lights back on the truck. They don't work.
The brake lights work fine, but the tail lights refuse to work. I have tried everything I can think of. Can't find a fuse for the tail lights in the fuse box under the dash. The head lights work fine too. Is there a separate fuse for the tail lights or is it included in another circuit? I can't see how the brake lights can work but not the tail lights. I have checked all the wiring and it all appears to be in tact.
Please help. This is driving me nuts.
Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the grounds under the bed for the taillights, and just cause they are attached doesn't mean a good ground either, new paint may interfer.
