well no pics yet but i just got everything in from ($1100 worth!) to redo my interior.... all im waiting on now is the custom door panels i ordered from here which i figured would show up the same time as my stuff from since i ordered it all on the same day? aaand my billet steering wheel from billet specialties should show up any day aswell...... i kinda wanna do something cool with the door panel pieces that are to get covered but i cant think of what material to get it covered in so im up for any ideas as long as its black or gray!
-
go with gray tweed with an accent stripe of some design that accents the exterior color of the truck.
-
not a bad idea but i'm not sure what color i wanna do the exterior yet.... right now its just flat black

see!

My suggestion would be Ultraleather.
-
Common modern custom materials for something like that would be microseude, vinyl, leather, or carpet. Tweed is straight outta 1992 and won't be back in for quite some time. Sorta like velvet was to the 80's.

God i cant wait to get my interior put in... just gotta take the truck in tuesday first to have the new audio system put
i've got these things in my garage taunting me
new carpet
new headliner
new dash pad
custom door panels
billet dash trim
now... the question i have is
i just ordered a set of red faced gauges through whitegauges.net (missed the look of my 04 gto) and i am ready to order my billet specialties steering wheel but i cant decide if i want the leather wrap on it to be red o black? (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b375/MIKEITH/rivalsteeringwheel.jpg)
notice on the custom door panel below (installed on a different truck) where the red is
(http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b375/MIKEITH/doorpanels.jpg)
except stitch the door patern with black suade and red pinstriping something like this

Make it whatever the majority of the interior color is. If your accents are red, but you main color is say Black, get the black wrap on the wheel. You don't want red basically floating inside the cab. Plus, your hands are going to be on it, so as it ages, it won't be as bad as red.

good point! also on my door panels.... they didnt come with the top parts that are covered in the picture above?
*(edit)
here's whats missing

Not sure what happened there, but they are on their way now. Call me if there is a problem.
-
will do man thanks! at first i thought maybe they were just something custom added to the one in the picture about but then i double checked later that night to make sure that they were supposed to come with it before i posted about it, thanks again though! you guys have GREAT customer service!
-
Yes they are definitely supposed to come with those. Rod Doors went through a move and basically a complete employee turnover (minus 5 people) when they got to their new location. Many of the people there are not as sharp, and are learning. I haven't go a clue why they left it out, but I let them know I didn't appreciate it. I apologize again for the problem and thanks for the support.

its cool dont stress over it, you've been nothin but helpful the whole time!
