Title: need an overdrive tranny have questions

ok i have a th350 tranny in my truck and i want to convert to a 700r4.... buuut i know squat about automatic transmissions... the only thing i've ever messed with has been a standard.... i see ALOT about TV cables and lockup and whatnot.... what do i need to do in order to put a 700r4 tranny in my truck

Aquire a 700R4 and go through it 100% and get a new converter. You did not specify whether or not you have 4WD - check driveshaft length - adjust linkage, replace PRNOD2L gauge
