Was thinking about switching carb for mileage? How much difference would i see from a 4 barrell to a 2?

Definitely not the best way to try and improve your mileage. It sounds like you are maybe having a problem with your truck sucking up a lot of gas?

yeah it only gets 9 miles to the gallon tryin to get more

If you are only getting 9 MPG I would suggest you tell us what you have and what you've done thus far to it. I think you've got some other issues going on...What carb is on there now?

its a 350  with headers edelbrock intake and carb . 600. with dual exhaust thats all ive done to it.  not sure what rear end i have i think 3.73

Start with the basics. Give it a tune up - set the timing -set up and adjust the carb and the choke.
