I have a 86 GMC Full Size P/U and have been slowly working on restoring it over the past couple years. I'm at that stage now where it's about ready for paint. The plan is for a nice two tone paint job, keeping the original blue. The "Service Parts ID" label (located in the glove compartment) has a series of three digit codes but nothing that specifically identifies the exterior color.
How do I determine my color code?
Thx in advance!

Look at the bottom of the spid label. Typically it will say bc/cc (base coat clear coat) and followed by the paint code. If you can't find it a good body shop can use their pen that reads the color and the computer will match the color.

It will probably start with the letters WA
