i just put my drop spindles on and i went to put the calipers back on and thea brake line wont clear the spindle where it has the 90 degree angle... does anyone one know where i can get a brakeline(stainless maybe?) and has anyone else had this problem.... how did you fix it?
-
Do you mean the brake hose? Can't you just reposition it?
-
yeah.... and you cant.... at least not on mine, it has a gap that the line sets in so that if you turn it, it wont line up strait when ou tighten the banjo bolt.... i thought about grinding out a new groove?
-
Can you swap the Left to Right or bend it?
-
Are you saying the 90 bend is too close to the top of the spindle?
I get my braided lines from Inlinetube.com. Tell them you need the caliper end to have a tight 90 degree bend.

I went through this. I bent the hard line enough for clearance...bought some earls stainless braided hose, and do not like them. I might try what kaos said, looks like the ticket!

-
hmmmm, well I guess it depends on what they consider tight. Maybe tell them how long of a bend you need...
-
i emailed the tech with a link to this page so he could see the picture and he was like "yup thats our tight 90 bend" just cant wait to get these in so i can go get the truck aligned
