I can't post more than 2 pics on 1 post or on 1 thread. ???
How do you post a few pics?
-
I just host my own own images and post the url in the img code [ img ] url here [ / img ] no spaces.
I don't like the thumbnail images either that's why i do it that way.
You can host your images for free I like www.photobucket.com

Tried to insert a pic on the above post and it wouldn't allow it even though it was 97KB well under the 192KB limit.
Also ,I couldn't edit my post.???
Edit: looks like photobucket works good, but can I just take them from my computer directly w/o photobucket?
-
Did you get an error?
To upload more than one picture you can use the option under additional options. You can upload up to 4 pictures to one post.
-
I am trying to upload attachments under Additional Options.... I'm getting: ERROR UPLOAD IS FULL ..........These are resized images that I have in My Documents on my computer. I can post from photobucket, but I really don't want to do that as its a pain..

That is what I was looking for. I haven't tried uploading lately. I guess I will have to buy more server space.... yippie!

By the way, I saw all these bears last week while hiking in the Shenandoah Nat'l Park....

Andy, your pics appear a little fuzzy. Are they like that on your computor?I just host my own own images and post the url in the img code [ img ] url here [ / img ] no spaces.

Vile, how do you "host" your own images? Where do you get the URL for them?

Chris it isn't server space it is simply the smf upload directory is full. Looks like you got it figured out (http://arhunter.net/forum/Smileys/classic/cheesy.gif)

Yeah, I fixed it. I found the upload directory had a size restriction on it. I moved it up to 1G of space. You can upload now....

Yeah, I had my camera on a digital zoom. The camera is only a 5 megapixel.
I crop my original pics with my software a little to get a better pic.
If I had a better camera, they wouldn't appear that way.

I do the same thing. I have many url's; delbridge.net 12thva.com senatorjimwebb.com (i bought it b4 the senator did) and many others. I go to Yahoo.com and click on the "domain names" under the small business column.
You can search for url available and it is just about $12 to reserve a url. I have a package through yahoo to host my main site delbridge.net for like $14 a month for storage space and convert all my other url's to the delbridge.net storage so that all my other sites are directed to a branch off of that main url. I only pay the one fee a month.
Anyway, i then just upload all my images to my delbridge.net site and use that as my url when noting on this site where the pic is located.
It really is not hard. You will nee a file transfer protocol to click on what image on your personal computer to upload to your url site. You then have an address to use to locate your pic like www.delbridge.net/graves12.jpg
