Hey all
Wow.... Took about a six month break but now I'm back at it. 1977 Cheyenne LWB.
Anyway, I just got done replacing my entire brake system from the pedal to the wheels. Jeeezzz what a job but should be worth it. Well, the only thing left to do is to attach the front stainless steel braided brake lines to the calipers. Should be easy huh?? Well it seems that I do not have the bolts to attach the lines to the calipers and most likely tossed them out with the old calipers. Are these not a specially shaped bolt that allows brake fluid to flow around them and into the caliper?? Does anybody know where I can find these new??
Please advise. Thanks

They are called banjo bolts and your local auto parts store can order them for you or the place you got the stainless lines from usually have them as well..

New?, Heck, I'd just go to a salvage yard. They'll clean up and repaint well. There are dozens of these old pickups/suburbans, vans filling the salvage yards. There is a yard about 10 miles from me and i bet i could have 20 of those bolts in my hands in an hour's time.

they're $1.99 at autozone

O.K. Thanks Gents
Sorry... Didn't think it would be so easy to find them. Going to Auto Zone tomorrow. I would have gotten them at the salvage yard but I'm trying to avoid rusted up junk.
Hey VileZombie... Aren't you on the Harley boards somewhere??

Hey Flyboy, yeah I'm on the Harley Boards- Usually in the Dyna section since I have a wide glide. You on there too I take it?
