Title: Help identifying brackets
Post by: stevieray36 on July 10, 2007, 03:28:12 pm: Does anyone know were I can get exploded diagrams of the power steering and air conditioner compressor brackets for a 82 c-10 w/350 SB. The truck originally had a 305. If anyone has pictures that might help identify and locate brackets email to steve.rayburn@smith-nephew.com.

I know I should have taken pictures, dropped my digital camera and need to replace.

All I need is pictures of the AC compressor mounted to a SB engine.

Again I have an 82 C-10 with a 350 SB.

Does anyone have this truck with air, if so could you take some pictures. It would be greatly appreciated.

I went to several used car lots and the three 80 model trucks did not have the compressor mounted.

My 81 C-10 used to be a 305 swapped to a 350 with air. I'll take some pics when I get home...

Hope these help. Some may seem repetitive but I was trying to give you different angles.

By the way mine is an '85 w/305, but all SBC's with the same accessories shared same brackets.

Does it have sort of a "leg" on one corner of the triangle? If so you may be talking about a bracket that bolts flat to the cylinder head and supports the AC with the "leg" end.
