looks like an excellent starting point, in better shape than most trucks have been in when i bopught them. what are your plans for it?

Welcome to the site. Nice starting place if that is the only rust you have.

Welcome from New Hampshire as well. Looks pretty decent to me. Whats the running gear etc.?

Welcome and nice truck. That is a good way to get into these trucks. I love that rear bumber...anyone know where I can get one like that?

I forgot to had the pic of the engine bay (below). I have many plans for it but mainly i want to make it look original with replacement parts, for example put a stock radio in it. I just want to keep it simple. Any suggestions on what all i should do and what should i do first? I was planning on using all edelbrock under the hood. Is that good?

First thing I would do is to check out all the mechanical stuff like brakes, steering components, basically anything to do with safety.
Next I would do anything to bring it to stock except the stock radio. ;D

Make sure its safe and dependable first. Then go to the hot rod goodies. Looks like you bought a good truck. Keep us posted with pics and info....
