does anyone know if the 73-87 trucks have a build sheet under the seat? or if its somewheres else or if it even has one?

The RPO sheet should be in the glove box.  You can find a site that lists each code. Someone reading this can probably link to a website.

It is either under the hood on the inner fender or most likely in the glove box.

www.73-87.com has the RPO codes.

well i have a very short undetailed one on the inner fender, and i have another one in my glove box that dosnt say much...thats weird, cuz in my caprice i found a build sheet about the size of regular printer paper under my rear seat that listed an rpo about everything single thing

i found this on another 73-87 website-
you can try to call GM at the number listed in the link below.  i haven't tried it yet, but supposedly you give them your vin number, and they send you a pretty detailed packet about the stuff that should have come on your truck from the factory along with some other info (called a "restoration packet").  it's free, but it will probably take a few weeks.  check it out.

The INFO pack lists what could come on the truck, not what actually came on it.  I have a couple of them.
