Title: stepside tailgates and floors
Post by: chronos on July 30, 2007, 07:53:52 pm: Hoping to get some ideas for my new project. 1986 K15 shortbox / stepside. Want to get rid of orginal tailgate chains and stuff. Anyone done this or have ideas/pics. Also looking for options on the box floor. Thanks in advance :D

As for the floor, what are you wanting. Wood originally came in them. I know of some people that are using the composite material used by Lowes for decks also.

Post by: cubicdollars on July 30, 2007, 08:44:26 pm: I used S-10 Blazer tailgate cables to eliminate the chains and the latches I got from a boat shop but one of them broke so I am looking for an alternate. I replaced my factory crappy wood with a kit from a company in the midwest.
