Looks good, you shaved your door locks off too?
-
Okay. Im not usually one for street trucks at all, but understand the reasoning.
BUT, I gotta say that looks awesome.
Get rid of the handles, single pane windows, and maybe black out the front grille. Says nothing but muscle.
-
yup thats the plan ;D, i am gonna bag it next month put the windows in right after... hopefully by spring i can get all the other stuff shaved and smoothed
-
I like it. But me personally I don't like the shaved look on these trucks too much. I think the exterior handles and mirrors breaks it up and makes them look better head on. The one piece windows would look pretty slick!
-
i see what you mean on the doors, i thought about goin w/ some lower profiled billet handles but i havent seen any i like. so i thought about shavin them and gettin some low profiled billet mirrors.... i gotta while to decide though caus it'll be a while before it gets painted. if you have any ideas feel free to post em up!

I like it, I wish my truck looked THAT GOOD....... ;D
-
trust me the picture does it WAY too much justice.... for now anyway! although there's no rust the body needs some SERIOUS tlc! all the really good body shops are have quoted me 6-7K for a show quality single color paint job.... and up to 10k for a custom two tone becaus of the things the body will need to be worked out perfectly (although those prices do include shaving everything
-
That's a sweet chop. It'll be even better when you have it in person.
trust me the picture does it WAY too much justice.... for now anyway! although there's no rust the body needs some SERIOUS tlc! all the really good body shops are have quoted me 6-7K for a show quality single color paint job.... and up to 10k for a custom two tone becaus of the things the body will need to be worked out perfectly (although those prices do include shaving everything
OUCH!!! :o Man, my bodyman that did my '91 quoted me about $4,000 for a complete paint job on my CC dually. The body is straight and rust free, but there are a few holes and things I need shaved and welded up. But DANG! Your truck is half the size of mine!
-
ha! I just realized that pic was taken just up the road from me in Lawton!
-
haha yup! ;D thats my old work! i got a transfer back to lubbock and keep the sme job so i jumped all over it! i hate lawton!
-
Lawton is the armpit of OK. I don't blame you. I'll head up there every so often to hit Outback Steakhouse, but other than that, my visits to Lawton are usually just me passing through on I-44.
