I got a 78 half ton p/u and i need a speedo cable for a 350/350 with 3.73 gears is there an article about that one? Thanks
-
Same applies for all transmissions as far as the gear sets being replaced. If you need a speedometer cable, the only options are cruise on non-cruise.
-
yah i had cruise but it didnt work so i took it out and now left with a short speedo cable. If I go to the junk yard would i have to find a truck with the same gears?
-
The gear ratio is irrelative to the speedo cable. If you don't plan to keep the cruise, just get a non-cruise cable for you truck application.
