Its me again, recently rebuilt the 350 SB in my son-in-laws 82 C-10. We can get it started and when it runs it seems to run fine it just will not idle. I have hooked up the vacuum lines and it still doesn't idle. Also to get it started you have to pump the accelerator pedal and hold the pedal down to get it started. It sounds like time to rebuild the quadrajet. Anybody have any other ideas or are my assumptions about the carb correct.

Are you the same guy we told to set the timing? Did you hook up or plug the vacuum booster port in the back of the carb?

We went thru and readjusted the valves, two were a little tight. We also made some carb adjustments and it is idling know. Thanks for all the support.
