they sent me my shipping conformation that my stuff was shipped 7/24 (5/5 lowering kit)
got an email today (8/6) that they are backordered, so they basically said my stuff didnt ever ship
along with the fact when i checked it's tracking, it said it will be in january 11'th 1970?¿
anyways were does everyone else get their lowering stuff from, airbagit.com?

All I can say is DO NOT use Sport Truck Direct. They'll rip you off, and don't know as much as they think.
-
Bah - I had a list up here but my post vanished! >:( Just google 73-87 lowering kit and you'll find a zillion other companies that do want your business. Check eBay too there's a lot on there just check their feedback b4 you buy

I get my stuff from local speed shops or SECO performance. I did order from Stylin Concepts, they sent me 1" dropped springs when I ordered 2". Combined with my lowered spindles I had a 3.5" drop. Not the 4.5" I ordered, the tape measure dont lie. After dealing with Stylin' I cut my stock springs and ended up with a 5.5" drop, I liked it better that way anyway. Dealing with Air Ride Tech on the phone is great, they are very helpful, don't approach them at a show. 2 Good Guys shows in Nashville I approached a very bored looking booth sitter and asked a couple questions, no help at all. Street Beat Customs however was real helpful, and they sell Air Ride Tech stuff much cheaper. My next project I will get my stuff from Street Beat.

delt with stylin twice and havent had a problem

Lon,
Check with Suicidedoors.com on their prices before committing, at one time, no one could beat their prices.
-
Thanks for the heads up Chris, I wil check them out.

My lowering kit is from Stylin. Guess I'm lucky Ive had no problem whats so ever.
-
My 3/5 kit came from Summit for about 250 bucks total. Ground Force 3" springs up front and Ground Force shackle/hanger kit in the rear. Came out nice.

stylin concepts does stink! I used AIM Industries this time. www.AIMIND.com but remember you get what you pay for, they are by far the best priced company that I have found, but as with usually all projects, their parts usually need some TLC.

You must have not shopped around much then. Their customer service is lacking and their reputation reflects that. Don't get me wrong, I have bought stuff from them and will probably do it in the future, but they are by far not the best.

i got my drop kit from stylin, no problems.
as for AIM, ive heard absolutely nothing but horror stories about them. they have many law suits pending against them. just google it, this is one of the links that came up: http://www.autofashion.co.uk/new_page_17.htm (http://www.autofashion.co.uk/new_page_17.htm)
had to warn ya.

but remember you get what you pay for,
I did a ton of research and this is what I ended up with:
Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms w/ bushings
Shocks w/ relocation kit
Universal 4 Link Kit w/ bushings
FBSS Air Bag Kit (complete w/ bags, bag mounts, air lines, fittings, solenoids, switches, gauges, compressor, air tank, etc...)
All for under 1,400.00 USD.
Let me know where I can get it cheaper for my next project and I will, granted this is not high quality equipment, but I was looking for price not quality on my first bagged project.
-
almost forgot, included in that 1400 was 2" drop spindles...

I agree with 77c15 I have done a ton of business with summit ( summitracing.com )
They are really good to deal with.
Anyone interested in raising I also did a 4 inch lift on my other truck, I went thru topguncustomz.com they were really cheap and the lift I got was a rough county , pretty good for the money I had to spend. I went 4 inches and got a set of shocks all around, coils, all the brackets and hardware, and a steering stabilizer for $480.00
Oh, and free shipping.
