I am currently restoring a 1982 4wd frame with a 1986 Silverado body. I have 2 350 4 BBl engines. I am thinking of Fuel Injection instead of carboration. I think I already know what I need to do however I would like to hear if anyone else has done this before? If so let me know how you went about it, and If you had it to do over again would you?

You can swap in a factory TBI system fairly easily. I'm about to do one on my 85 K20. It's definitely worth it!

Are you talking about TBI or MPFI?
You will need a fuel pump that will support the system. 10-18 for TBI, 45-60 for MPFI. I suggest getting a intake setup from a 1987 pickup that will allow you to use an in-tank pump. You will need a supply and return line that is for Fuel injection. You will need a computer harness and ECU plus all the necessary connectors.
I am doing this to my Jimmy and I am putting a TPI on it. 123 Pugsy is doing this also.

I installed a complete kit from summit racing. Edlebrock MPFI system complete. It is a little time consuming and tedious calibrating but it is great once it is all tuned in.
