Title: Stumped on Fire
Post by: MSU BullDawg on August 27, 2007, 07:53:09 pm
Hi, all glad to be a part of an elite group. I have a 1978 chevy sil. my problem is in thr firing. I've put (plugs, wires, cap, ign.coil and rotor button) on this truck and still it fires when cold but no spark once it warms up.I had the module checked (good) ; should I look at the pick up coil and cond.? Anyone with a problem similar please share your solution with me. Thanks,GO DAWGS! ???

Sounds like a bad pick up coil in the distributor. EZ fix. Do you have an ohm meter?
