Pulled out the 250 to rebuild, and the 350 trans. Putting in a 305 I had while rebuild the inline with T5 trans. Painting the rally's Green and putting to back on and lowering it 3 and 4" Gonna keep the patina and put my shop name on the door. Should look pretty cool. I think.

Good luck with that. It looks like a pretty solid/straight body.
-
Are you sticking with the step side bed or going fleet side??
-
Staying with the stepside. It is pretty solid just needs wood in the floor
-
Finally got around to workimg on it again. Got the 250 back in it with a 3spd. Got it lowered and the interior changed to blue. Working on painting my wheels now. 6" rallys in front And 8" in the rear painted baby blue with wide whites.

Got around to working on the Project Low Buck again, so I thought I would update. Finished painting the wheels and making the wide whites. I made up a rail road company name (I work at the r.r and used my daughters Initials)and painted it on the door and made it match the patina. I still have the other door to do. I took the rear slider out and put a plain window in

I also put a new floor in the bed. It is a piece of one side sanded ply-wood. I coated the underside and put 4 coats of clear on the top. I think it turned out pretty good. I had everything for it except some carriage bolts. So I have around $7 in the bed.

Know i'm working on the taillights and custom rear bumper. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Mike

Any details about how you did your bed?. That looks great for $7.
-
Truck looks great! I dig the patina and the door logo 8)

Got my rear bumper and tail lights done, so I thought I post some pics. That is a railroad airline wrench and a couple of spikes.

Is that braille on your dash board? :D
-
cool dash ;D
-
The dash is just an old dash pad with all of the padding removed then I welded the expanded metal in the holes and cleared it. The brail appearing things are actually holes. I also painted the grill a granite color, I think it turned out looking good.

I like this one, it's looking good with the painting on the doors and the wheels and... nice old school look you got there!!
-
truck looks wicked cool man
-
hey bro, what diameter measure are the center caps?
-
I am not sure of the size but, I had to take a die grinder to the center of the stock rallys to make them fit. I didn't have to take a whole lot out it was very close to fitting. Next time i take the wheels off i will measure them.
