Title: lowering my '79 c10

now, have some questions, im planning on the kit from   to lower 2 1/2 front and 4 rear, how is this done in the rear, is there any frame cutting involved? i understand the front, im getting the drop spinles, not springs so i just need info on the rear drop! thanks!

It's probably shackles and hangers for the rear

4" rear is shackles/hanger.  It will require removing the rivet holding the hanger on.  Use either a grinder or air hammer.

Air Hammer might be a bit easier then the grinder. I used a grinder on mine and it took a bit to grind. What I ended up doing was grinding a good flat spot on the rivet and then drilling it out. Went trough a few bits, but got er done!

The 2.5/4 kit uses stock shocks, they are not included.
