Well guys I will no longer be driving my 1979 K20 Chevy because it is dead. I was leaving a friend's house and fell asleep and hit a guard rail at 75mph! Long story short I impacted three times on the first I ripped the rear axel completely out from underneath the truck, on the second it ripped the bed off of the truck and on the third I hit with the front and shifted the it over about 2 feet. I pulled the engine this weekend and after a few small repairs I dropped it in a 1978 K10 Chevy that belonged to a friend and it still runs like a champ! So I guess not every story has a happy ending but there is one less 79 on the road now. I replaced it with a 2003 Chevy Silverado K2500 HD! I will try to post some post accident pictures of the truck when I get a free minute.

Hate to hear about your accident. Sounds like you are ok though? The truck can be replaced, as you stated.
