Did the 75 have factory shoulder harnesses? My top has a place for a pivot and I was assuming (I know) that this meant there was a shoulder harness. Anyone have a 75 with factory belts that can help me with this problem? Thanks, Steve.

All trucks and K5's came with the 3 point provision, but it wasn't standard until 1977, from what I can remember. It was optional on all of them though most didnt' choose it. I believe all K5's had lap belts due to the removable top and the belt would be useless once the top was removed.

Thanks for the info. Steve.

FWIW
My 75 Jimmy has the shoulder harness seat belt option, I can take a picture if anyone wants to see what it looks like.

Wonder what Chevy had in mind as far as what to do with the seat belt mounts when you take off the hardtop?

I am guessing you would just use the lower portion...
