Title: Head Lights and Gauges?
Post by: 197 on October 19, 2007, 09:16:34 pm
So my gauges have been acting up lately they will get brighter then normal for no resaon. When they do this I have my headlights on. So yesterday I was driving and the gauges got brighter and so did the head lights. I clicked my brights on and I lost my headlights. But the dims still worked.

Today I checked the alternator using a meter and its giving off power. Replaced the dimmer switch. And I still dont have brights? And the lights still do the same brighter then normal on and off thing.

Anyone have any clues?

Check your connections at the headlights 1st.

Did that and its getting around 12volts for the lows and the highs. Could the bulbs be bad?

If your connections are good then replace the bulbs
