Title: Hei Distributor

I just installed a 350 in my c-10 it wont start I put the wires on it from under the cap to the connector on outside of casting, There is also another connector where the wires from inside go it says on that that its for a tach and bat am I supose to attach  a 12 volt connection from ign sw to this plugin. Vacumns are all ok Checked them yesterday .Treny

12 volts to the BAT only.

You probably know this, but by BAT pugsy means switched battery power.  You should be able to find a switched power source you can plug in at the fuse panel.

haha I went right out and put the 12 volts to it and it wouldnt even shut down with the key , Story of my life eh! Found a wire that goes off with the key Guess that will work but raining out now Ill wait till rain stops . Thanks for the help guys all within a couple hrs .Now got transmission lines driveshaft etc The fun stuff .
